What's the point?
Maybe there's really a gap between the older and younger generation? After reading kl's entry, i toltally agree with what he said..we might be emphasizing it too much.
Unisus was never a competitive team to start off with..i think many of us feel so attached to it becos of all the fun times we have shared together, not becos we've won sth in HO.
Yes, Unisus is pride of Hall 1, something that we should continue to develop into a strength.
But pple, let's think about it..what is it about some other halls that make us wanna outdo them?Would i be wrong to say that it is because they are too competitive? But doesn't that seem like the direction we are moving in now? Are we getting our focus wrong?
Another point, we all need to be more understanding..to recognise the fact that each of us have different obligations and priorities.
Getting Unisus together has ALWAYS been a problem. If we were to blame, everyone will be guilty in one way or another.
I know I'm not the best person to put forth this point, because I haven't contributed much either..
But..
Ask not what Unisus can do for us, but what we can do for Unisus.
Cheer is a team sport. Unisus is a family. What's winning if there's no bonding.
