Reasons Why Hall 1 Cheer Cannot Progress
Looks like the HO high has subsided and everyone is back to their books and all, competing for SKM is starting to look further and less likely.If anyone of us have wondered why Hall 1 Cheer cannot progress beyond its current maturity to at least the level of maturity of Steppers or Spectrum, here are my 2cents.
1) No proper training facility (no biggy until it rains)
2) Lack of members committed enough to carry on after HO
3) The batches of freshies become more and more muggish
4) Members loaded with other Hall and non Hall commitments eg. Hall Prod
5) Cheering in Hall 1 cant secure enough points
6) Lack of proper team organization
7) No team fund
8) Have not started performing for external events
There could be more but I am lazy to think haha, so I would leave it as such. I have always how Unisus would fare if my current batch graduates, wonder whether next year will have good recruitment.
I would like to reiterate that it doesnt fall on the captain ALONE to recruit new members. He cannot possibly know everyone in Hall 1. Every member on the team must help to grab other ppl that you think are suitable. And for this point, everybody is suitable to cheer unless proven otherwise.
I really hope to come back in my office wear and witness the continuity of Unisus.
