My thoughts
Just feel like sharing my feelings on the current UNISUS situation.Personally i feel that UNISUS has evolved a lot in this 2 years. This year's team mainly consist of the people from last year. No doubt we have come a long way and we have definitely improved a lot as compared to how we were, but seriously i feel that we are just putting too much pressure on ourselves. I think some of us are making cheer too high a piority.
When we first started, many of us just wanna give it a try and have fun, and we sure did. Thats y everyone enjoyed training so much. Thats y we improved so fast. But this year, what i feel is that we are forgetting what make cheer great and y we joined at the first place, to have fun. We din join becos we wanna win HO. We din join becos we wanna beat Hall 7 and 13. I saw a lot of comments like 'we should improve UNISUS' and stuff like tat, but aren't we just worrying too much?
Another point i wanna share is tat y are we so worried abt new blood? We started off as noob too din we? So issues like wat will happen if a certain batch of ppl graduating should nv be an issue.
Sometimes when i looked at how stress mh was during training i feel very sad for him. He was given the too much responsibility i think. Of course i am guilty too, as i myself was expecting to win gold.
Sometimes i think we should ask ourselves questions like 'are we really that good?' and 'are we really better than the UNISUS before us?'. This years stunts are definitely harder and higher lvl, but look at the team, are we as bonded as last year? The answer is obvious, no.
I am not trying to discourage anyone or what, i just feel that hall activities should be kept simple, and the basis of everything is to have fun. When we have fun, thats when passion grows. When passion grows, we can achieve more.
I might sound abit negative but i still do love UNISUS. Do jio me for trainings. Come to my room to pull me or drag me and i will go (i abit lazy la). I missed the old training days, i really do.
